While much of the British social season is rule-free in the wardrobe department, certain style parameters surround a few of its highlights. Mirroring the guestlist, outfits can read like a who’s who of international names to know – be it Gucci, TOM FORD or Casablanca. Underscore classic tailored shapes with eye-catching colour combinations and dandyish accessories, or employ floral prints to sow the seeds of interesting conversation among discerning crowds. Green-fingered brands such as Erdem and Etro put the ‘art’ in garden party attire.
