Warmth was the focus of this two-bedroom property in Lombard Wharf, with colour palette, textures and silhouettes carefully chosen to create a cosy family home.

Uniquely shaped to offer enviable views of the Thames, the interior design of this apartment required out-of-the-box thinking. The pinnacle of the design is undoubtedly the inclusion of a bespoke fireplace, embedded within a pillar. Positioned between the living and dining rooms, it casts a warm, comforting glow across both spaces.

For the interior styling, the team took inspiration from the client’s passion for nature, designing each of the four rooms to mirror the seasons. Cool neutral and rich textures in the master bedroom evoke winter. Playful blues and a distinct blue-green-ombré feature wall in the son’s bedroom tune into spring. Furnished with a tan-leather armchair and touches of orange and brown, the living room speaks of autumn, while the brightness of the dining room recalls long summer days.

All very subtle, but pulled together beautifully by the Harrods Interior Design team to tell a cohesive story.
