“Riffing on the lilac Missoni Home wallpaper selected by the interior designer, I created a tranquil, soft environment with tonal bedding and accent pieces.”
The Alice in Wonderland Table

“This Mad Hatter’s Tea Party took place in a beautiful garden in Chiswick beneath a tree that had been struck by lightning. It inspired a fairytale tablescape with fanciful, daring pieces from a wide spectrum of brands.”
The Shelf at Green Park
The Shelf at Green Park
“Curating a shelfie is a fabulous way of showcasing your personality without the huge commitment of investing in furniture or a total interior refresh. A few well-chosen pieces and voilà!”
The Christmas Table
The Christmas Table
“Christmas is a time to pull out all the stops. Here, we selected a colour palette inspired by peacocks – a recurring motif at Harrods – peppered with gold and silver accessories in myriad textures. A festive feast for the eyes!”
Dinner parties, Halloween, Thanksgiving – turn your seasonal feasts into the chicest of gatherings with table settings curated by our interior stylist.
Interior Motives
What sparked your passion for design?
"As a kid, I never went anywhere without my sketchbook. That’s when my love of colour began. I eventually studied architecture at university, but it wasn’t creative enough for me. I wanted to style! It surprised no-one when I switched to interior design and started dressing homes."
How do you approach each styling project?
"I always start with the big pieces – curtains, the rug or artwork – and use them to inform my palette. If the client wants me to build on existing pieces, like a Persian rug, I’ll pick out a colour and go from there. I like colours that complement each other rather than match. It creates depth and interest."
What’s your favourite room to design?
"Children’s rooms! They’re more colourful and playful, which means I can try out bolder schemes."
In another world, you might have been…
"A fashion designer. I make most of my clothes. Last year, I made a New Year's resolution that I wasn’t going to buy any new clothes. I lasted 10 months! Everything I wore during that time, I made. Then it got to Christmas and I couldn’t resist buying something new."
Is there a design thread that runs through your work?
"I love to layer different textures and tones. Different tones of brass, for example. And whether it’s subtle or bold, there’s a pop of colour."
