Founded in 1845 by Carl Philipp Fissler, Fissler has over 170 years of success in producing high quality kitchenware with precise craftsmanship. In the 1920s, Fissler was the first to introduce aluminium pans for electric stoves and in the 1950s, Fissler created the first pressure cooker with a multi-setting control valve and a patented ‘Thematic’ base. The functions and designs of Fissler’s products today are continuously adapted to meet the needs of modern cooks and each piece is still made in Germany.
