The story of the Montblanc pen began in 1906 when German technician August Eberstein teamed up with Hamburg entrepreneur Alfred Nehemias to create a range of fountain pens. These pioneering writing instruments would change the course of penmanship forever – just look at the Meistersück 'masterpiece' luxury pen to see why it was (and remains) an icon of its time.
